As a teacher recruiter, I review hundreds of resumes each month on behalf of schools that
hire me to find the best teachers out there. When reviewing teachers’ work histories, I look
beyond the type of schools he or she has worked at or the number of years a teacher has
taught. Overall, I want to see evidence that the candidate has the transferable skills and
qualities that predict success as a teacher.
Participation in events like EdCampSavannah demonstrates that and here are just three reasons why:
your network. Attending EdCampSavannah will definitely provide you with new new ideas and new friends, and that should be reason enough to attend. But it can also give you the spark that leads to your next job a few years down the road… which makes it a must-go event for educators in the Southeast.
